  My New Langguage

I have learned many words in Indonesian because I need to communicate with many people in Padang, including students and teachers at school. When I go out, it’s especially important for me to know some basic words, and I can now introduce myself in Indonesian.

For example:

Nama saya Piyada Kaewkanlaya.

(My name is Piyada Kaewkanlaya.)

Saya dari Kampus Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University di bawah naungan kerajaan.

(I am from Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University under the royal patronage.)

Saya merupakan peserta program SEA-Teacher batch 6 dari Thailand yang mengajar Bahasa Inggris di SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP.

(I am a participant in the SEA-Teacher Batch 6 program from Thailand, teaching English at SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP.)

Saya menyukai banyak makanan di sini, seperti bakwan, soto ayam, nasi goreng, dan risoles.

(I enjoy many foods here, such as bakwan, soto ayam, fried rice, and risoles.)

Tempat favorit saya selama berada di Sumatera Barat adalah Kota Bukittinggi.

(My favorite place in West Sumatra is Bukittinggi.)

Here are some Indonesian phrases I have learned:

  • Selamat pagi = Good morning

  • Selamat siang = Good afternoon

  • Selamat malam = Good evening

  • Selamat tidur = Good night

  • Berhenti = Stop

  • Terima kasih = Thank you

  • Sampai jumpa lagi = See you again

  • Mari makan = Let’s eat

  • Mohon diam = Please be quiet

I'M NOT TALENT . I 'M OBSESSED.

ฉันไม่เก่ง ฉันแค่หลงใหลในสิ่งที่ทำ
